    Article Snippet: Cell culture and drug exposure The human LC cell line A549 (ATCC, CCL-185; ATCC, Rockville, MD, USA) and the non-tumor human lung fibroblast cell line LL47 (MaDo) (ATCC CCL-135) were grown in DMEM/Ham’s F12 (DMEM/F12) culture medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (Gibco-Invitrogen, Carlsbad, California, USA), 100 U/mL penicillin, 100 μg/mL streptomycin, and 0.25 μg/mL amphotericin B (Sigma-Aldrich; St. Louis, MO) at 37°C and 5% CO2, as described previously.
